New Art Installation at The Window: "Whispers of Fall" by Che Ree Kwon
In every part of our lives, emotions are always present. Capturing these emotions' raw, powerful essence is central to Che Ree Kwon's art. As an immigrant living in Canada, they channel their experiences navigating different cultures into abstract forms, blending colour and emotion on canvas in ways words cannot.
Their latest work, Whispers of Fall, explores the dynamic and complex emotions of the autumn season in Toronto. Layered, colourful leaves—ranging from green to deep reds—symbolize the shifting emotions that accompany this time of change. Like the childhood games of Hide and Seek or Hopscotch, their pieces bring a sense of playfulness while diving deep into the rhythms of life and transformation.
Through painting and mixed media, Che Ree Kwon invites you to engage with your own feelings in an intuitive, sensory way. Join us at The Window to experience this stunning reflection on nature, memory, and the playful yet emotional aspects of fall.
