RICHMOND HILL CENTRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS "Sensory Landscapes"

Sensory Landscapes examines multi-sensory experience through primarily two-dimensional visual practices.

The exhibition invites viewers to engage beyond the visual surface, imagining texture, sound, scent, taste, and touch through color, line, pattern, and composition. Through diverse interpretations of sensory perception, the exhibition explores the interconnected themes of identity, memory, environment, and emotion.

The featured works encourage audiences to reconsider how perception shapes human experience and our relationship to place, while fostering deeper imaginative, sensory, and emotional engagement with the world around us.
