Our minds imagine pictures and play out scenarios as if creating a video, with our internal voices guiding and critiquing us along the way. This internal voice—an ever-present commentary running in the background of our thoughts—shapes how we interpret and process the world around us.

Artists often draw upon these voices in their creative processes, translating them into visual and emotional expressions. INTERNAL VOICE features a group of Korean and Canadian artists from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, each interpreting their inner dialogue in a unique way.

From traditional Korean paper paintings to mixed media works, the exhibition offers a window into the universal human experience of introspection and self-discovery. Through a thoughtful fusion of Korean and Canadian influences, INTERNAL VOICE explores how identity is shaped by cultural exchange, offering deeper insights into the connections that transcend borders and guiding a shared journey toward understanding the self.
